State Park
Anza-Borrego Desert State Park is the largest state park in the contiguous
United States with over 600,000 acres of washes, wildflowers, palm groves,
cacti and sweeping vistas. Experience Southern California deserts’
true beauty is all about along the park’s 500 miles of dirt roads,
two huge wilderness areas (comprising 2/3 of the park) and 110 miles of
riding and hiking trails. Whether camping or riding by car, 4X4, on horseback,
bike or on foot, you won’t want to miss this bountiful experience
while you’re in our area.
HOURS: Anza-Borrego Desert State Park is open year-round.
Visitor Center hours vary by Center and season. The Visitor Center is
only open on weekends in the summer.
