Welcome to our official ANZA DAYS website!
Our 2008 "Wild, Wild West!" event was a great success!
The floats in the parade were top quality
this year and the Temecula Gunfighters were very good! Participants in the pie and watermelon eating contests enjoyed it... all over their faces and bodies kind of fun. We would have liked more entries in the Chili Cook-off but, to those who participated, the food was delicious.
Be sure to visit our Photo Gallery!
Anza Valley has been holding Anza Days for 76 years now, as near as we can figure. Anza Days begins Friday night with a wonderful dinner/dance sponsored by the local Lions Club. Saturday morning Anza's Thimble Club offers a tasty breakfast to start the day off right. Just before noon, the Parade begins with an honored dignitary ringing the bell at the Little Red School House in downtown Anza.
The Parade usually has floats, equestrian riders, vintage cars and tractors, and various other
entires to thrill the crowds. After the Parade, the Park is filled with activity: live music, a Beer Garden, contests, food and retail vendors. Sometimes we have a circus or carnival rides and equestrian activities in the Gymkhana. There is something for everyone! Plan to join us. We'd love to have you!
